Fuse needs light
How can I download books to my Sansa Fuse and have them show up with thier title rather than "unknown"?

You'll need to download the title to your computer first, then "sync" the files (using whatever process you normally use) to your mp3 player.

Hey Steve,
I think that Nathanial might have misunderstood your question. Let me take a stab at it.
For some reason +most+ of the titles that I download from christianaudio have this problem. It has something to do with different ways to make and save .mp3 tags. I've found that I'm just safer to download the tracks and then use a good media program like (Jriver's Media Center or even iTunes or Windows media center if you must) to edit the tags before I send them to an mp3 player.
This lets you know just how YOUR media program of choice "sees" these files. The mp3 tags that christianaudio uses might work fine in iTunes (sometimes) but not in Winamp/ Media Jukebox.. etc.
If it's a book with many chapters (like Pilgrims Progress) then this can take a long time because you also have to change each track to make them play in order. If it's a short book then you just highlight all the tracks then typically right-click and choose something like "edit tags" or "edit info" or "get info" etc. Once you add the artist (or track or title or genre or whatever was wrong) you can then save the file with changes and finally transfer it to your Fuze and it should show up correctly.
Hope that helps..
