Can I download a whole book with one click?
I know this is going to seem like a repeat of a previous question, but it isn't. I would like to know if it is possible to tell the system to download a whole book with one click. I downloaded the Pilgrams Progress Revisited, but I had to click Download on each individual file. Is there a way to tell the system to download all of the files in sequence, one after the other?

I apologize for the inconvenience of having to click the Download link for each title, I understand the frustration. Unfortunately, there isn't any way in the existing system for us to have "linked downloads" or downloads in sequence without you manually clicking the Download button. However, as I'm sure you read, we will be offering one-click download in the new site!

What about zip files? Paste Magazine does their monthly mp3 "album" samplers this way. -
I am looking forward to the one-click option! -
Inappropriate?Hey Richard, if you use Firefox you can use the DownThemAll extension. It works fine to download all the book parts automatically :-)
-
Hi Mark, have you found a good way to do this without guessing which files are the mp3 versions? I always end up with either some or all of the wma's een though they are hidden from the viewable list on the page. I assume the links are hidden but dTa finds them and tries to download them as well. It's a frustrating but decent workaround. - Thanks! -
Hi Chad, using DownThemAll, go to the download page, right click and select DownThemAll option, in the Fast filtering text field type "token" and click the Start! button. This should automatically download all formats, if you would like only one format, just "tweak" the filtering option. Works great. Good luck :) -
Thanks for your comments and suggestions, Mark. Please just remember that we at christianaudio do not recommend or support third-party download tools at this time. Thanks! -
Inappropriate?I just wonder why it's taking so long? Surely the backend portion isn't uncharted territory?
I’m frustrated
-
Unfortunately, we're not just restructuring our existing system, but changing platforms altogether. Sorry for the delay, but the new site (with one click download) will be available soon! -
Inappropriate?Where can I download the book I ordered, every time I click on something it takes me to another page. I keep going in circles.
I’m confused
-
Once you place your order, there is a download link available. You can always go back to the My Account section and download your titles from there. -
Inappropriate?christian audio is no different from most sites that offer audio books there is only one company i know of that offers 1 click downloading and it has its own software you have to download to your computer to have this conveinence i use it as well but christian audio is less expensive in most cases and has a larger library of christian publications and connections and if they are making a new site that will give the option of 1 click download then i would say they will be on top of all the rest yeh! you go christian audio

Thank you so much for your kind words! We do plan to add one-click and it is in production on our new site, releasing later this summer! -
Inappropriate?Do you have an estimated date range when the new site will go up?
-
We're hoping before the end of this month. -
Is there software you have to download to get the new process to work? -
The new site will offer One-Click Zip downloading and no additional software will be required! -
Is the new site up? I can't find out how to do the one-click download. -
No, the new site will be noticeably different and is not up yet. -
Any idea when it will be up? -
Not for sure...hopefully within the next 30 days. -
I'm beginning to think this might be a stumbling block for Christianaudio, If something were being worked on full-time and with focus it certainly wouldn't take this long. I hope it comes quickly, I haven't bought a book from ya'll since the last 14 part download that frustrated my afternoon. Maybe it's time to farm out some of the backend stuff?? -
Thanks for your comment Chad and we understand the frustration in the delay, we are experiencing it as well. We have a team working on the site and should see a completed and working site within 30 days. -
Inappropriate?I also downloaded Pilgram's Progress by selecting each part. Then I went to another window and read e-mail or something. I don't understand the problem, I guess. If you found this inconvenient, then don't even think about downloading The Year of Living Biblically by A. J. Jacobs; even though I think it's pretty entertaining.

Thanks for your comments, Richard! We think one-click downloading will make it much easier for customers! -
